More evidence of possible 2K partnership lands on LEGO.com

Rumours of a 2K partnership may be supported by the company appearing on the official online LEGO store‘s Intellectual Property Notice page.  Earlier today, a rumour surfaced that the previously reported open-world racing game, which has yet to be officially confirmed, would be named LEGO 2K Drive. Now, the LEGO Group’s official Intellectual Property Notice page has been updated to add 2K alongside Disney, Hasbro, NASA and more.

2K is a video game publisher with games including those based on Marvel, Borderlands, WWE and other sports franchises.

In 2022, 30629 Finnius Dash appeared on the LEGO Group’s certification page. This polybag has the logo for 2K in one corner and combined with this new addition to the Intellectual Property Notice page, it suggests that something is indeed coming.  The most recent LEGO games are LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and LEGO Bricktales, from TT Games and Clockstone Studio respectively.

2K Games would be a new partner for LEGO games provided the reports are accurate. Rumour has it that a LEGO football game is also on the way as well as the potential open-world racing game. A previous report also suggests that multiple titles from TT Games could have been cancelled.

At the time of writing, the LEGO Group has not confirmed any new LEGO games since the release of LEGO Bricktales.
