Yale Nightlatch with automatic deadlock is a classic design that has set the standards in convenient door security for over 70 years and is trusted by millions.

The lockable internal handle with snib button provides a convenient way to operate the lock from inside the property.

Ideal for use on wooden front doors with glazed panels where high security is required.

Premium Lock Specification

Yale Double Locking Nightlatch features an automatic deadlock that is immediately engaged as soon as you close the door. The latch bolt can be held back temporarily using simple snib button, in case you need to leave the door open whilst bringing in the shopping.

For additional security the internal handle can be locked with a key, which is ideal for use with wooden doors that have glazed window panels where an intruder might be able to smash the glass to try and release the handle from the outside.

Anti-card slip protection is included on this model to prevent your lock from being vulnerable to this specialist attack method. Other locks that might look similar can sometimes be easily defeated with only a credit card sized piece of plastic.

The external 5 pin rim cylinder lock is manufactured to a good specification, is tested for resistance to corrosion and a minimum of 100,000 usage cycles.
